Kīpaipai Career and Transfer Series with Willy Kauai

"Kīpaipai" means to inspire; which gives our lecture series its name. The Kapiʻolani Community College Kīpaipai Career and Transfer Series will encompass Native Hawaiian professionals with a knowledge of History, Communications, Political Science, and Cultural Research. Their expertise and knowledge will inspire students to believe in their academic journey and become the leading professionals in Hawaiʻi's workforce. Na ka Hawaiʻi, no ka Hawaiʻi. By Hawaiʻi, for Hawaiʻi.

Willy Kauai is the Director of the Native Hawaiian Student Services at the University of Hawaiʻi Mānoa. Willy holds a PhD in political science from the University of Hawaiʻi Mānoa.

Event will be held in the Lama Library Study Hub at Kapiʻolani Community College and each lecture is scheduled for 12 p.m. to 1 p.m.
